Individual Online Therapy for Insight, Regulation, and Lasting Change
You may be carrying a heavy emotional load: over-functioning, shutting down, or trying to meet everyone’s needs but your own.
You may be managing ADHD, childhood trauma, anxiety, or relational stress that never quite resolves.
In individual therapy, we create a space for you to explore, slow down, and reconnect with your values and yourself.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a space to slow down and work at a pace that supports nervous system regulation, clear thinking, and grounded decision‑making. My approach is structured, clinically informed, and rooted in mindfulness, emotional regulation, and evidence‑based relational therapy, without pressure, intensity, or language that is too technical. Sessions emphasize steadiness, containment, and a predictable therapeutic process that helps reduce overwhelm and supports long‑term change. With over 30 years of clinical experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, LISW), I integrate modalities such as Mindfulness‑Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), HeartMath, and Brainspotting, providing a depth of training that ensures treatment is precise, thoughtful, and attuned to complex presentations including anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and relational stress. Choosing to work with me as a therapist includes seasoned clinical judgment, nervous‑system‑aware interventions, and a calm, methodical approach to your care.
Who Individual Therapy Is For
The Hummingbird Path LLC works with adults experiencing:
ADHD and executive function struggles
Developmental trauma, attachment or relational trauma
Anxiety, fawning, or people-pleasing patterns
Emotional exhaustion or burnout due to relationship overwhelm, over-performance
Grief and unprocessed relational loss
Chronic stress that impacts your nervous system, communication, or self-worth
What We Work On
The first step on this path is learning how to slow down and create space for deep change. In sessions, you will build concrete skills in self-regulation, drawing from evidence-based practices like HeartMath and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to anchor your nervous system and cultivate authentic peace.
My practice, The Hummingbird Path LLC, offers structured, relational individual therapy for adults seeking support with anxiety, relationship patterns, life transitions, and the lingering effects of past experiences on present functioning. The work I do is intentional, collaborative, and designed for clients who are able to engage in a steady therapeutic process.
This approach is best suited for individuals who have a baseline level of emotional stability, can reflect on their internal experiences, and are open to exploring discomfort with curiosity rather than urgency.
Sessions emphasize insight, regulation, and meaningful integration, rather than crisis management.
If you are currently needing a higher level of stabilization, more intensive support, or a treatment model centered on acute emotional dysregulation, I am glad to help guide you toward clinicians or programs whose services are specifically designed to meet those needs. I offer Therapy INTENSIVES as another option.
My intention is always to support you in finding the care that will be most effective and resourcing for you.
My Therapeutic Approach
Attachment theory and mindfulness-based practice
Brainspotting for deeper nervous system regulation
HeartMath techniques for stress and emotional coherence
Trauma-sensitive communication tools
A holistic lens that honors mind, body, and relationship dynamics
Cynthia’s training is in clinical social work and my sessions with clients are focused on Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, and Relational therapy. Whether your current patterns are rooted in early attachment wounds, neurodivergence, or ongoing stress, you'll uncover what's underneath so that lasting change can begin.
