Brainspotting Therapy for Trauma, ADHD, & Emotional Healing

Where You Look Affects How You Feel

Some things can't be reached in a 55-minute conversation. Trauma stored in the body, patterns that surface in relationships, the exhaustion of a nervous system that never fully settles, these need more than insight. Brainspotting works differently. It goes beneath the surface, into the brain-body connection, to access and process what talk therapy alone can't reach.

I am trained through Brainspotting Level IV and integrate it into individual therapy, couples work, and intensive sessions.

What is Brainspotting?

Brainspotting is a neuro-somatic therapy developed by Dr. David Grand. It works by identifying specific eye positions — called brainspots — that correspond to activated neural pathways where unresolved emotional material is stored. By holding attention on these spots with bilateral sound and relational attunement, the nervous system begins to unwind stored tension, protective patterns, and trauma.

Extended Time, Deeper work, and Relaxed vibe

3-6 hour sessions allow your nervous system to fully settle and access deeper layers of healing. No more feeling cut off just as you're getting started.

Faster Integration

Brainspotting bypasses executive functioning challenges by working directly with your subcortical brain, leading to faster insights and behavioral changes.

Focused Attention

Contrary to concerns about attention span, clients often report time flying by as they become deeply absorbed in the healing process.

Dr. David Grand,

Where you look affects how you feel”.

What Brainspotting Can Help With

Trauma & PTSD

Brainspotting reaches trauma stored in the body that verbal processing often can't access childhood wounds; relational trauma; single-incident trauma; and complex PTSD.

ADHD & Nervous System Dysregulation

For ADHD brains, Brainspotting bypasses executive functioning challenges by working directly with the subcortical brain, supporting regulation, focus, and emotional steadiness.

Attachment Wounds & Relationship Patterns

Old relational wounds show up in present relationships. Brainspotting helps process the underlying patterns, fear of abandonment, shutdown, reactivity, at the nervous system level.

Grief & Loss

Whether grieving a person, a relationship, or a version of yourself, Brainspotting creates space for the body to process what the mind is still trying to make sense of.

Anxiety & Emotional Overwhelm

For anxiety rooted in stored trauma or chronic stress, Brainspotting addresses the source rather than just managing symptoms.

Burnout & Chronic Stress

Deep exhaustion that rest alone hasn't touched often lives in the nervous system. Brainspotting supports genuine restoration, not just temporary relief.

Break free from executive functioning struggles, attachment wounds, and relationship patterns that keep you stuck. Our intensive sessions provide the deep, focused healing that traditional hourly therapy can't match.

What to Expect in a Brainspotting Session

Sessions are conducted via secure telehealth, or for intensives, in-person in Tempe, AZ. We begin with a brief check-in, then identify a brainspot using a pointer while bilateral sound plays softly through headphones. You follow your internal experience — thoughts, feelings, sensations, while I hold the relational space. Sessions are 55 minutes and can be integrated into your ongoing individual or couples therapy.

Brainspotting Intensives

For deeper, accelerated work, Brainspotting Intensives offer a sustained container — half-day, full-day, or two-day formats — that allows your nervous system to move through layers that short sessions rarely reach. Intensives are available online nationwide and in person in Tempe, AZ.

Format ‍ ‍Duration‍ ‍ Investment

Half Day 4 hours $895

Full Day 6 hours $1,455

Two Day 12 hours $2,795

Intensives are private pay. Not billed to insurance.
